Summer Volunteers
Summer volunteers are welcoming people who assist our many visitors all summer long. They are responsible for greeting visitors and disseminating information about the Museum’s collection and tourism materials at our information desk. Hours are daily from June through August. The ability to work one weekend day is helpful.
The position is unpaid, but volunteers receive free admission to the Museum, as well as discounts in the Museum Store and Café. Invitations to exhibition openings and free admission passes are also benefits.
Qualifications:
Volunteers should have good communication skills and a friendly personality. They should be excited about working with visitors in a busy museum setting.
