Winslow Homer Studio Restoration Project 2010

Restoration of the Studio as of Fall 2009 Exterior of the Studio when the Museum purchased the building in 2006. Second floor interior when the Museum purchased The Studio in 2006. Righting the original chimney. Second floor ceiling and wall removal Solidifying the foundation. Pouring concrete into the foundation. Re-shingling the exterior. Stabilizing the piazza (porch). Installing a replica of the original first floor window which provides an ocean view. Restructuring the mansard roof. Completed mansard roof and piazza (porch).
