Port City Jazz is a septet that plays standards from the Great American Songbook in the Chicago / Kansas City style like no other group north of Boston. Leader, trumpeter, and vocalist Carl Bradford, along with trombonist Eric Anderson, and tenor sax man Anthony Marro are backed up by piano man Peter Merrill, acoustic bass man Tom Bucci and drummer Don Whitney. The result is a great mix of music that will keep your feet tapping and make you want to get up and dance.
