Looking for something fun for the whole family? A visit to the Museum is a great way to spend time together that's educational and interesting. Whether your kids come to the Museum's ARTREK summer camp or become members of the Museum's Art Squad, they'll be full of stories of the collection when you visit together. Family Festivals are held throughout the year to get the conversation going when you visit the PMA together.

Exhibition for Children: Child's Play
Ongoing

Looking for a fun place to bring your kids? The Portland Museum of Art fits the bill with Child’s Play, the Museum’s first interactive exhibition for kids and families. Child’s Play allows families to take a trip back into the 1800s with interactive displays just for kids. Kids can try on costumes and pretend to pose for a portrait, play with 19th-century games and toys, look at optical illusions, sketch curiosities, and entertain themselves with old-fashioned tongue twisters.

Youth Art Month Exhibition
