The Portland Museum of Art houses some of the area’s finest works of art in an extraordinary setting. The Museum is distinguished by the quality of its collection, captivating exhibitions, and unique architecture. The mission of the Portland Museum of Art is to enrich the lives of people through the acquisition, preservation, and interpretation of the visual arts and the Museum’s architecturally significant buildings.
Your rental of Museum facilities supports our efforts to provide outstanding exhibitions and arts education to the community. Special rental discounts are available to current Corporate Members and Committee of One Hundred members.

Great Hall
Ideal for: receptions and dinners
Available for rental between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday through Thursday
Rate: $2,000 (Non-profit: $1,700) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
Glass Gallery
Ideal for: receptions and dinners
Available for rental between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday through Thursday
Rate: $1,500 (Non-profit: $1,200) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
Auditorium
Ideal for: business meetings, multimedia presentations, seminars, lectures, and concerts
Available for rental Monday through Thursday between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., Friday between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
Please note that while access to the Auditorium seating/viewing area is barrier-free, the Auditorium stage can only be accessed by stairs.
Rate: $1,500 (Non-profit: $1,200) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
Boardroom
Ideal for: meetings, workshops, and retreats
Available for rental between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., every day
Rate: $1,000 (Non-profit: $700) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
Conference Room
Ideal for: small meetings and breakout sessions
Available for rental between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m., every day
Rate: $500 (Non-profit: $300) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
McLellan House Dining Room
Ideal for: seated dinners for 16 people or fewer
Available for rental between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m., Saturday through Thursday
Rate: $2,000 (Non-profit: $1,700) per four hour block, plus personnel fees
McLellan House Parlor
Ideal for: small receptions

Final pricing for all facility rentals is determined by the length of the event and the number of staff necessary to ensure the safety of guests and the Museum’s collection.
